This is a vintage ceramic canister storage jar made by Deneen pottery in St. Paul, Minnesota. It is stamped on the bottom as shown in the photo above. The jar has its original lid which fits nicely. The glaze is a soft brown color with the words
"Minnesota Wild Rice" hand painted on the front.
No chips or cracks, very clean
8" tall × 4.5" wide opening at the rim, 5" approx. at the widest point in the center
