Superb molded relief jug by Royal Doulton part of the Dickens ware series produced in the early 1900's - produced at the beginning of
20th century, entitled "OLD CURIOSITY SHOP". The base bears the Royal Doulton England lion stamp plus the title of the piece.
A gorgeous and very collectible jug or pitcher, the Dickens series ware jug features Nell and her grandfather to one side and the Marchioness on the other, decorated with wonderful hand painted vivid enamels and high relief, it measures approx 5 ½ inches tall by 7 inches from spout to handle and is in great condition
